Project Information:
1. Sanctioned cost of the project - Rs. 1372.20 Cr.
2. Revised sanctioned cost of the project – Rs. 1800.28 Cr.
3. Funding pattern - 50 : 50 between Govt. of India and World Bank.
4. Implementing Agency : Powergrid Corporation of India Limited.
5. All works awarded.
Project Outcome:
The project shall provide a robust power network in the State and improve reliability, which consists of transmission and distribution components. The project also aims to improve the intra-state transmission and sub-transmission infrastructure to facilitate an increased availability of power to the consumers, improve service delivery, and reduce system losses.
