3 49 Obtaining Electricity Connection i) Ensure the state regulator publishes monthly data ,regarding total duration and frequency of power outages online in public domain. Complied. Annual report is available in the website: www.terc.nic.in However for monthly /quarterly publication matter is required to be taken up with Tripura Electricity Regulatary Commission (TERC).

ii)Ensure Discom display information on tariffs(in Rs per Kwh) and notify customers of change in tariff ahead the billing cycle (for commercial and industrial area) Complied. Effective Tariffs are available in the website www.tsecl.in

iii)Discoms notify customers of planned outages (maintenance and load shedding)for next 1 month in advance. Complied. Any planned maintenance work like pre monsoon and pre puja notified in the website.Now there is no need of scheduled load shedding in TSECL.

4 50 Obtaining Electricity Connection
Stipulate that charged electrical connections (for all voltages -Low/High/Extra High tension ) along with Cief Electrical Inspector General (CEIG) approval (wherever required) is provided within. EODB Point No. 50

Initially work was taken up for PT wiring of 11 nos 11 KV feeders to monitor outages will be completed by end of Nov 2017.Balance 334 nos feeders will be completed by March 2019.

An automated tool for service restoration-System is not available at present. Complete automation up to distribution system level, huge infrastructural developmental works with funding is required as TSECL has been a loss making company.
